GOP loses its appetite for contraception fight
Wed Mar 7, 2012
The Republicans are still searching for a wedge issue they can use to ignite the base without alienating all the moderate voters they will need to win a national election. This wasn't it. They know they have a weak frontrunner in Romney, and Obama's approval rating grows slowly but steadily higher.

Planned Parenthood 'reeling' after losing charity funds
Tue Jan 31, 2012

As usual, Obama is correct that the original national motto was and should still be "E Pluribus Unum" -- "Out of Many, One." "In God We Trust" violates the Establishment Clause of the Constitution that the Republicans claim to love, but tear to shreds every chance they get.
Calif. pot dispensaries told by feds to shut down
Thu Oct 6, 2011
This is utter bullshit. The DEA fascists exist solely to drain funds and justify their own existence. Absolutely nothing the United States government does makes a bit of sense anymore. We've become a nation without direction, a boat adrift without a rudder.
